Our history

Usina São Luiz S.A. is located in the municipality of Ourinhos, in the interior of the state of São Paulo. It was founded in 1951 by Mr. Orlando Quagliato, with the support and dedication of his wife, Mrs. Rosa Angelieri Quagliato.

Today, the company is managed by the second and third generations of the founding family, who form the Statutory and Executive Board of Directors.

The company is proud to be the one of the most established organization in the region, generation more than 2,500 direct jobs and bringing meaningful beneficts to the local community.

Throughout the journey, and alongside the constant change in agribusiness, our company has been continuously modernizing. We have introduced new methods of cultivation, production and processing of our raw materials, while investing in our people and technology and pursuing increasingly consistent and sustainable results. We are greatful to all the employees who help us build this history of success, dedication, and respect.


We are members of Copersucar, Brazil´s largest sugar and ethanol export ecosystem and one of the world´s largest exporters of these products.
