Usina São Luiz currently produces raw sugar, a commodity traded on the international market.
Produced through the fermentation of sugarcane juice, hydrous ethanol is used directly in flex-fuel vehicles. We also produce industrial ethanol, mainly used in cosmetics, beverages, and paints.
Sugarcane bagasse is used for energy generation, with part consumed internally in the sugar and ethanol production process and the surplus sold. It is a clean energy source that reduces reliance on fossil fuels.
Our marketed by-products include bagasse and hydrolyzed yeast for animal feed, as well as fusel oil for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
